Kursk - 12 August 2000 - 庫爾斯克

Kursk﹐庫爾斯克。位於烏克蘭境內。公元一九四三年七月﹐成為舉世聞名的"庫爾斯克之役"的舞台。納粹德軍與蘇聯紅軍在不到十六平方千米的戰區裡打出了世界戰史上最大規模的機械化坦克戰。由於事前蘇軍掌握了德軍進攻的範圍﹐時間與戰略佈置並建造了史前無例的縱深防線﹐令德軍於不到一個月的時間內喪失戰略時機而慘敗收場。東線戰事從此逆轉﹐由德軍的閃擊戰變成了蘇軍的千里長征。

庫爾斯克﹐是蘇聯的榮耀。

庫爾斯克﹐是獨聯體的恥辱。

公元二零零零年八月十二日﹐獨聯體北方艦隊的最新導彈潛艦﹐Атомная подводная лодка "Курск" ﹐庫爾斯克號於海參威港潛航到巴倫支海﹐準備在其間測試最新式的反艦武器。當然﹐這亦是普京總統新上任時的一份大禮。一個重振俄國強大軍威的機會。

不幸地﹐庫爾斯克號卻於演習其間發生了神秘意外。在艦首兩聲大爆炸之後﹐沉沒於三百多尺的巴倫支海海床。

如果當時軍方全力進行拯救﹐那二十三位逃過爆炸衝擊的水手﹐還有生還的可能。只可惜﹐那些拯救艦艇大部份都因經費不足而日久失修。唯一能夠潛到海床的卻又不能打開逃生艙門。獨聯體海軍拒絕其他國家海軍的協助﹐認為這是關乎面子的事。

普京總統? 還在黑海度假。

於是﹐就在全世界都在報導此事件的時候﹐困於三百尺海底毫不知情的水手們﹐慢慢地步進死亡。

核子反應堆在爆炸時自動熄滅﹔後備電源也很快耗盡。在艦尾第九船艙迎接他們的﹐是完完全全的黑暗﹐與慢慢滲進來冰冷的海水。

如死神之呼喚。

Dmitri Kolesnikov 中尉 ﹐二十三人中的一個士官﹐把二十三人的名字寫下來。他分別寫了三段信息。最後的一次﹐是在差不多一片漆黑的環境之中。

"這裡太黑了﹐我只能憑感覺書寫。好像沒有甚麼希望了吧...一到兩成機會。希望有人會看見這信息。這裡是其他船艙過來水手的名字﹐他們現都在第九船艙﹐並會嘗試逃生。大家安好﹐不要絕望。Kolesnikov。"

想象一下﹐那是多麼恐怖的畫面。被困在三百尺海底下的鐵棺材。沒有任何光線﹐氣溫不斷下降﹐水位不斷上升﹐氧氣續漸吸盡。

然後﹐你的同志因為低溫疲勞把那用來放出氧氣的化學匣筒掉進水中﹐引起大火。他雖然犧牲自己把匣筒抱在懷裡並潛到水下﹐但那火炎已把那僅餘的氧氣燒盡。

就在你窒息之前的那一刻﹐你在想什麼?
